So the newest cell technology 5g is slowly being rolled out. This technology promises to transform the way we receive data but the dangers of radiation have me greatly concerned. I’ve read and seen videos of the very negative results about it. Does anyone share my feelings or have any knowledge about it?
Er...I wouldn't be too worry about it. If the general population is getting affected, then someone like you will eventually step up and do something about it. If not, no worry, we all get to die one day anyway, so I wouldn't be alone in this kind of situation.

You are right to be concerned. The widespread placement of femtocells could be a major public health hazard.

Millimeter waves have a major downside. They don’t travel as far as lower frequency waves–they are unable to pass through buildings, and are absorbed by trees, earth’s atmosphere, and even the uppermost layers of human skin. To get around this issue, telecom companies will install small cells (which essentially are short range cellular antennas) in huge numbers.
There are a few different types of small cells, all of which have different broadcast ranges. The shortest range type, femtocells, reach less than 10 meters, and the longest range type, microcells, broadcast to roughly 2 kilometers. Due to limited area that small cells can provide coverage for, they will need to be installed at a much higher density – around one per every 10 to 12 households.
So, if you aren’t living near a source of cellular transmission now, you almost certainly will live and work near several once 5G becomes widely available. Of course, this will make it all but impossible to avoid sources of EMF radiation
These transmitters will be installed on light poles possibly just feet from where you are. I’m not an alarmist type of person more just very concerned about health and privacy issues.

Fortunately these small cells are very low power. I am not sure if privacy issues will radically change

Since the biggest concern is how these new wavelengths will affect the skin, and brain - you could reduce the exposure by wearing earplugs or using the speakers option.
As for the towers and increased radiation - I will be watching European rules and regulations. They seem to care much more about wellbeing of their citizens than the US.

Given how much diesel they burn in Europe I’m not so sure about the “care much more” comment.
