The best have found is the Mogix External Battery Phone Charger 10400mAh Power Pack sold on Amazon , good enough for a few recharges depending on your cell/smartphone battery size. Its pocket sized 5.3 in by 3 in by 0.5 in and can be used with USB or USB-C port phones. I have been using it for years, most often when forgot to bring my phone charger with me on days here and there, but more recently when stuck at a relative's house during a winter storm for days.

^^^ Very good!

I have Anker for several years now, and take it everywhere I travel. Fast loading, great performance. I am an Anker fan.

Another reason for having one of these is that we all tend to use our phones while traveling and thus it runs the battery down. But if you want to use the phone’s mobile boarding pass to get through security and on the flight, you will need to have enough battery power to turn the brightness up to max. People who get sent back for a paper BP often don’t have the phone on MAX brightness.

And don’t expect the security or gate people to tell you this when there is a long line. Not all smart phones have a swipe to change the brightness instantly.

iOS 12 now makes the Wallet app go to max brightness ONLY if there is a barcode to be scanned in the wallet document. Other smart phones may not do this. If you are not sure, swipe to the setting and manually knock it up to max.

Things you have to know that no one ever tells you.

Elnina,

What do you use to charge the Anker? It doesn’t look like it comes with a charger for IT.

It has a micro usb cable to charge it. You just need to use any power brick to charge it.

Or you could just get a phone with a better battery. It's pretty freeing.
My phone can EASILY go 2 days. First phone I've ever had like this. It's damn near life changing.

Also, scanning technology has improved massively. You don't need your phone at max brightness.
