I stand corrected. However, iPhones are smart. Apparently if you turn on WiFi while on Airplane mode it will remember this next time and leave WiFi on.

My apologies. It is android phone. LG Stylus 3.

We will access data via 3g and 4g. In hotels, it may be Wi-Fi on their network.

I want to block all calls please?

Airplane mode should definitely do this. Just test it out and see for yourself.

If it doesn't, there's a quick toggle on most Android phones for "Cellular" to turn it off. You could turn that and WiFi off (to prevent WiFi calling if you have that enabled).
