We just got our new phones this past December. I'll have to talk to Verizon again. I don't think they can beat $28/month for the same plan for two phones with Spectrum though.

Geez, I just looked at the Verizon site two days ago. No plans offered for what some of you are getting. I've talked to Verizon and they seem to be telling me the same thing I've seen on the website.

You said you just got your new phones in December. Are you financing them through Verizon? If you are, then you will need to either buy them outright or purchase new phones.

Just FYI, Tracfone (Verizon) is a little cheaper at $25 per line. Some other MVNOs might be cheaper as well.

I just went to the VZ site and there was my 4gig plan with two lines, $90. 2gig 2lines, $75. So I don’t how you are missing it on their site.

I left Google's Project Fi because I thought $10/GB was too much to pay for data. Spectrum charges $15/GB.

Left Verizon but kept their phones. Use their towers. Went to Net10 and now Total Wireless. Again, this is ON VERIZON TOWERS. $62/month for two lines (so $31/line) includes taxes and "fees". Includes talk/text and 15g LTE data shared. I travel for a living, currently in McAllen, TX along the border getting LTE...never had any issues...

Wife uses her line for conference calls for work (works from home) sometimes spending 6-7 hours a day on the phone...

Spectrum @ $15 per gig. Not much of a savings as Verizon charges $50 for our 4gig plan. And even at $10 per gig you are only saving$10 a month. Not worth it if you want full roaming coverage and top data speed with no throttling all for less the cost of two star bucks coffees a month.

We use Verizon phones & go with Selectel, which also uses Verizon towers. You have a better plan than us with Total Wireless it looks like. Their website says $52 for 30 GB data. That's a good deal. We pay $30 each or $60 total for 2gb data each. Unlimited talk, text, pic text. I'll have to keep Total Wireless in mind.

Selectel is a small Canadian company & there was rumor they'd be bought out soon by América Móvil & prices change. So far that hasn't happened. In typical Canadian fashion, they have the nicest customer service.

I use ATT prepaid. $40 per month for 8GB of DATA and unlimited calls and texts. It is actually the $50 per month plan, but you get $10 off each month if you do auto-debit
