I used to have to enter a 4 digit passcode but now I never do and I'm not asked for touch Id either. I don't recall ever setting up an apple ID but I did used to enter a passcode. Can anyone help me with this?
Also when I'm on the phone sometimes people say I sound muffled. Is there a way to try to fix this or will I have to go to the store for assistance?
Thank you

Check the phone settings again. Maybe you need to reenter your security code again.

Sound - please check the volume of your phone.
Perhaps the speaker got dirty? Take a pin, earring or something small to clear out the small circular holes. (pocket lint or other small material stuck in those holes can muffle your audio)

If your phone case has a lid which folds over, it can partially cover one of the microphones. When this happens, the phone treats your voice like background noise and attempts to filter it.

If you cover the mic completely, noice cancellation is disabled and your voice will sound normal.
Possible workarounds:

-Get rid of the case

-Hold your phone differently - no fold-over lid

-Tape the rear mic

-Always use headset

-Use speaker option

Hope it helps
