Update — I bought an Obi 200 and configured it as lottamoxie directed to allow contacts to ring and send all others to voicemail. So far it is working quite well with no spam calls. But the really surprising thing is the call quality is *better* than Ooma! There is little or no "talking over each other", as each person can hear the other person even if they talk at the same time. So the conversation flows much more smoothly. I am impressed. If it continues, I will be getting rid of Ooma in a month or so. Thanks for everyone's input here!
