Apparently, they will give me $700 for my Galaxy Note 10+ if I trade it in on a Duo.
Not too bad, since I paid $640 for that phone.

But, it has most of what one needs for a business phone.
I don't care about top specs nearly as much as productivity. MS Office, email, documents. Those are the areas of focus, even down to the 4x3 screen.
I look forward to getting my hands on one, to at least play with one.

Looks like I’d get $550 for my Note 9. Kind of tempting.

I feel that for the price, it should include specs similar to other premium phones. I'm mostly concerned about the radio. As someone who travels a lot, leaving out a good chunk of frequencies is a big miss in my opinion. Especially if you do business outside of the big cities.

I went into Best Buy for the first time in months tonight and saw the Surface Duo on display, as well as the Galaxy Fold. The Surface is interesting but I couldn’t find a use case. Maybe in a couple of generations. The Fold still makes me nervous about that screen’s durability...and $2000?

I handled one at ATT store a couple of weeks ago.
I could like the dual screens. A lot.
But, the price... I predict there will be discounts, refurbs, and lightly used units available in a few months, if I really want to give it a go.

Be careful as there are already reports of battery bulging.

Needed to run Windows for me to justify the price. Not saying it had to be great but a portable keyboard and it turns into a folding pocket PC, maybe worth $2,000. I usually, but not always, have my laptop with me. So similar except I most of the applications I use are windows only aside from basic email, calendar stuff which my phone does fine. I mean, it would be nice. Calendar on one screen, email on another. But not 2,000 nice.

It’s on sale again for $200/$300 off so I took a look yesterday at Best Buy again. Played with it in the store for around 15 minutes, and there’s a lot to like, but I’m going to wait until version 2 to seriously evaluate it again.

How does it compare to the Samsung Galaxy Fold?
