To watch TV on the go, simply roll out the screen into a widescreen. The screen also bends slightly, making it ideal to maintain a sense of privacy when out in public, or using public transport.

How badly do we need to be able to watch TV everywhere? Would you pay $1000 to have a rollable phone?

I'd buy it. And I never watch "TV" on my phone.

I watch TV and movies on my phone. At 12ā€ from my eyes, the relative size is almost the same as our 50ā€ TV at 12ā€™ in our living room. Handy for plane flights or motels

Plenty of R&D that will provide cool things in the future.
I am a bit taken by TCL's tri-fold 10" screen, and perhaps their scrollable screen.

I had the MyVu around 10 years ago - probably still have it in a box somewhere. Before the day of the iPad it was a way to watch videos at a decent apparent size. Only 320x240 resolution but I wonder if an updated version would sell.

People pay $1000+ for phones that aren't even rollable...
