So I hope someone can help. Internet says - go to settings - apps - storage - choose SD card and transfer files. Simple. Except I have no option for Sd card. I do settings - apps - gallery (where most of my photos are) and the only option I see is clear data.

I don't know if that's because the photos already seem to be in the SD card and for some reason they are duplicate copies still in the internal drive or some other reason. New photos seem to stay in internal only until I move them into organized groups on gallery.

I don't really understand the interplay of photos - gallery - and when I check the storage - I see images in the internal storage (which are photos) but when I try to transfer them via USB to the computer - MOTO G doesn't open up in a way I can see images (or downloads) (or videos) to move them to the computer. The only things that open are DCIM and Camera.

Appreciate anybody that can help. Thanks.

Make sure the SD card is seated correctly and in the right slot. It should recognize it.

The photos should be under DCIM. Try opening up the folder.

Just wondering when you connect to the PC you should receive a message on your phone about what you want to do with the USB drive connection; such as charge only, images, files, etc. Are you picking either files or image transfer? I always just pick files and have been able to transfer files and images with no problems. But I must pick something or nothing works.

I only get the option if I go to gallery first then touch either of the options to transfer photos to computer but even downloads and documents stay hidden.
