I am considering doing trade in cell phone for at&t new phone but i am confused on how closely they actually look at burn in? Do they go by each color? Do they reject only if it's clearly burn in or possible burn in?
What phone are you considering trading in ? How old ? How obvious is the screen defect ? In my experience, they merely reduce the trade-in value for any defect/damage on the phone. I can't tell you what the trade-in value may be, especially without knowing what phone you currently have to trade.

Sprint s8+ Defect only visible when doing pixel test. Otherwise it's not visible even on full brittleness. I am considering getting Galaxy s20.
that is impressive i just checked my Canadian provider the best they would offer for that phone is approx US 90
I should clarify. At&t running a special, trade in your qualified phone and get $1000 bill credit. Being i will be on payment plan, i in essence will be getting 1k for it. It's new form of contract.
