Does anyone know if 4g phones will work with the 5g move, be it H2O or anyone else?

If the phone has 5G with the right frequencies it should work with 5G data, if it isn't a 5G phone you will get the slower 4G data speeds. 5G phones are backward compatible with 4G voice and data (VoLTE).

It's not a move. The carrier installs the 5G service. Then at a later date the carrier shuts down the 4G service.

4G networks are not going anywhere soon. The current 5G networks work hand in hand with the 4G networks and will for more than a few years. 2G and 3G are currently being shut down.

Yes I found a pdf spec sheet for the phone and it said it will work with Volte, even though H2O customer service said it would not because it is 4G

4G networks are not being shut down by any carrier in the US in the foreseeable future. 5G is a nice service but not required for the phone to work on 4G. 4G and 5G will continue to work hand in hand for several years to come (based on the current information). Don't feel it is necessary to but a 5G phone yet. Some prepaid/MVNO services don't fully support 5G technologies yet.
