A proposal to expand cellphone towers in the park and install wireless Internet service in its hotels -- where TVs are banned -- has environmentalists furious.

Good yellowstone needs better coverage.. when I was there using verizon's roaming partner for 1xx internet.. we had to idle at weird spots on the road to keep a connection that sucked..

I know this thread is old but I had trouble with my cell phones in Yellowstone / Grand Teton. Both cell phones barely had signal!
