Default purchasing cell phone from Best Buy, Walmart, Radio Shack etc...

anyone ever buy one frome one of these stores?

Pros? Cons?

I have an AT&T and looking for new, someone told me that these stores sometimes have better deals then the actually AT&T store.

Any advise will be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

When I got my latest phone from Best Buy it was 80-100 less than what they were charging in the Sprint stores. Didn't have any problems upgrading. I would definitely recommend upgrading there.

I got mine from Walmart when I renewed.
AT&T store was $99 after rebate for a RAZR. Got it for FREE at Walmart. Kept my same plan, same price.
Selection is limited and varies from store to store, so you may have to visit a few to find what you want, but HIGHLY worth it.

Savy customers usually check out stuff at Best Buy and then order it on line for 10- 20% less. And Wal-Mart will cull off a large number of the people who compare prices.

Wow - this is great to read. Maybe I won't be going back to the AT&T store...

Thanks, everybody, for your input!

Ebay is another good place along with Walmart. Walmart sells Go Phones if you need a replacement. All you have to do is pop in your SIM card If you go online AT&T, it's less too. Alot of times you can find a refurbished one for a fraction of the cost. It looks brand new too.

We use Virgin Mobile prepays and have bought them at Walmart or Best Buy.
You can get the cards at those places or top up online or by phone.

I know people hate Walmart but we recently discovered they are much cheaper than some other places for canned air (to clean out your computer) so yep, we go there.
