My wife tried to call me on her tmobile phone this afternoon several times, and could never get through. Apparently, they are having a major outage.

T-Mobile USA down all over the place? (update: yes)

That explains why my phone had no signal bars on it Tuesday evening. I kept trying to call the scheduling office for my part-time job, and couldn't get through for about an hour.

We had a HLR outage, that dropped over 2 million calls. It so slammed the rest of our network architecture that it wouldn't allow others phones to make a call.

It was about 4 hours long. I'm mad about it, doing upgrades like this are supposed to be done during the maintenance window.

Wow I thought it was just in the NYC area. Everyone I know (with T-Mobile) couldn't do anything with their phones, my phone couldn't make calls but my internet still worked sometimes.
