My 2yr contract is up and I'd like to save money on cell phone service. We currently have a Verizon family plan at 59.99/month but don't make much use of it. Is prepaid a cheaper way to go? I'd say I average 200 minutes/month and my wife probably averages 20 or so. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Prepaid is generally cheaper but it all depends on your needs. Are you using texting and web/email? If so i'd say to check prices online for each company but Sprint might be your best option or one of your local carriers. T-Mobile is generally very cheap but has only gets good reception in major markets, otherwise it usually has alot of dropped calls.
