Hi all,

I am still doing my search of the area. I saw a lot pictures of the area and it is beautiful. So, my next question is how is the job market in the area?? I have been in the service industry for along time but currently work in a mfg plant r&d lab, so i wlould love some information on some good companies that i look into. Thanks to all who reply.

Service and tourism....

Boeing is building a large plant here so that is up and coming....

We have two aluminum plants, bayer chemical, two polyester plants, one steel mill and one paper mill.....

A couple of small automotive support plants and a few other small things around.

we will also be the wind energy r&d (and possible manufacturing) hub for the US over the next 5-10 years. That coupled with all the aerospace jobs heading this way and Charleston has no other choice but to grow.
