Don't Usually ask for too much help but was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a nice day downtown. Celebrating our anniversary and would love to hear some suggestions. Thanks!

How many years, how much do you want to spend, what do you and your significant other like to do?

Sorry. Ten yrs and I already have a nice gift for her. Would like to just spend a nice day downtown together. A few hundred dollars I guess, maybe a little more or less. Have done the group carriage rides a few times. Was thinking maybe a private carriage ride or of any other orginal ideas people could come up with. We are pretty laid back, so anything that sounds good...
Thanks again. If nothing else, am looking for a nice romantic place to eat thats not one of the more common places.

Ok, yes I would recommend the private carriage ride. Dinner would be at The Oak steak house with dessert at Kaminsky's...

ps: Congradulations....

I like Carolina's for dinner and dessert. Maybe a spa day (for two) at Charleston Place.

We went to Cypress restaurant downtown last week for our anniversary. Great service, mediocre food at it's best. Good thing we only have an anniversary once a year 'coz it wasn't worth it IMHO.

TomCat is dead on the money...everything I was thinking, he typed.

Private carriage ride, dinner at the Oak (the ambiance does NOT get any better in Charleston), and dessert at Kaminsky's. Heck, spring for a pedicab for the short haul from the dinner location to dessert.

You should be able to enjoy a very nice afternoon/evening for around $300.

Again, congratulations.

Peninsula Grill or Grill 225, an evening at the Pavilion Bar overlooking Charleston.
