Hi all. My family and I are considering moving to the Charleston area in the next year. We have three children and are coming from Central Ohio. We are looking at a housing budget of 250k or less. Where can we get the most for our money with good schools. The closer to the beach, the better

Too vague.
How close are you talking? Generally new home in the 2,000-2500 sq ft range are $ 300 + within 10-15 miles of Charleston and the beaches. Resale homes? well depends how old and what neighborhood. You want 250 max? check out Summerville. |

It seems like school districts in Mt. Pleasant and areas of Summerville have good school systems. With a budget in the $250k range Summerville would be a good choice, and you can still be about 30-40 minutes to the beaches. Moderator cut: solicitation removed Good luck
