The gem of South Carolina, lovely beach, mediorce seafood restaurants(Folly Beach), great potential to become a force on the eastern seaboard and a place which could become a pop of 2 million when everyone discover what the city has to offer

Not just a gem of South Carolina, but also of the entire country. It is one of America's great cities, even if it is a great deal smaller than some of the other great American cities.

Not without it's problems, but certainly one of the top places in the U.S.

Just my .02.

That's too scary to even think about. Too many wonderful things would be lost with that many people here.

It's an abysmal city. There's no good reason for anyone to move to Charleston.

History, great food, beaches, still close enough to get to the mountains, friendly people who actually smile and greet you still! Everyone should visit at least once. Not everyone will like the southern charm, humidity and heat but it beats digging yourself out of the driveway all winter long!
