Hi everyone! I'm moving to Charleston next year and would love to live near/in the downtown area! I hope to be able to find a condo for $250K, but am unsure of what areas I should avoid on the penninsula. Are there any dangerous areas near downtown?
For $250k'ish, you could have a condo downtown in Harleston Village, find something close to CofC/MUSC, or get a condo, townhome or single family home up in Wagener Terrace or Hampton Park Terrace. All would serve you well, it just depends on what you're looking for.
