Second week of November? Should be plenty of time between now and then to look through what's available online, what matches your needs, and narrow those neighborhoods down to a reasonable list before you hit town for your visit.

Keep in mind also many of the condos in Mount Pleasant have litigation going on so will be difficult to secure a loan if your not a cash buyer. In your price range a single Family Home or town home may be your best bet. Several of us are great Realtors so we would all be happy to assist you! Just let us know!

I would say you could see what you mentioned in a day and a half. If you only want to see those developments you mentioned, it is doable for sure. (If you are planning to find a home and put on a contract on it, you may need more time. However, just getting a feel for the developments and area is doable. Just make sure to set up your appointment with us in advance so we can set up the homes you'd like and we can map out a good course of action for you.
Sincerely,
Foster

Can you elaborate, please, on the type of litigation that is going on? Is it like in some areas of FL where builders crashed and burned and didn't complete everything and are now being sued by HOAs?

Thanks!

kathy

Most if not all of the Mount Pleasant condo's were apartments converted to Condos during the housing boom. There are various issues including leaky windows, HOA issues, mold. It varies from one complex to another. I only know of one complex with no litigation at this time. It is difficult to get a bank loan if there are litigations pending. Also the regime fees are high some units are over 200 a month. Your Realtor can fill you in on each situation. If they don't know the information takes a little research but it is available if you ask.
