I am new to the area and am looking for fresh local seafood. Doesn't have to be a buffet. I'm looking for great quality fresh fish and seafood first and foremost. Ambiance etc. is secondary.

Skimming through a similar post I saw these comments:

For local seafood, The Wreck, Hank's Seafood, anything on Shem Creek, Charleston Crab Houses, etc.

,,,,,,anything on Shem Creek "But" Red Ice House.

Trotters Restaurant in the Town and Country Inn

Does anybody have any other recommendations besides these?

Thanks!

I am a seafood wholesaler, and sell to most of the places listed. If you send me an Email, I will tell you where I eat.......It did not make your list, and is the BEST in Charleston. I can also sell retail to the public, and you will be getting the same product as the restaurants are receiving.
