y r all the events in charleston designed for families of 4, avid church-goers(i dont mean that disrespectfully,just descriptively), or elderly? what about us young ppl without kids who just wanna hang out? any1 kno of any cool places 2 hang out @?

Check out the city paper and the digitel lots of stuff for college and younger crowd.

We are a college town after all!

If you're bored in the Charleston area, that's your fault. There is a ton of suff to do for everyone in all age groups. Try looking into a meetup group that fits your needs www.meetup.com

Charleston is pretty damn small, and can be boring rather often. I can agree with you on that. Downtown is consistently the best option though. Like posted above, meetup.com is a good site. We all have hobbies and interests. Best to find people who share those. I myself tend to go on a lot of day trips to Charlotte/Jacksonville/Columbia etc. Charleston is pretty well located. I go up to Charlotte at least once a month and that seems to get me through the slow times here ha. Good luck, and honestly there are a lot of places far worse then here. Shoot , you have to go no further then Savannah! Go there for a day and it will make you thankful to be in Charleston.
