I am so surprised that I never see any posts about the Gamecocks, esp. after they beat GA and are ranked so high now.

Any fans in Charleston/N. Charleston. Any folks interested in meeting up to watch games on tv some place? We are a married couple, 60, but enjoy folks of all ages, can't handle cigarette smoke in the room.

Yeah it's a little early to jump on the band wagon. Die hard fans were thrilled (and even us folks not Gamecock fans were delkighted to see them beat UGA). Rankings in the first couple of weeks don't mean anything.

I've watched the Gamecocks become 'national contenders' ever since Paul Dietzel came in to resuce the program.

It's not a question of 'if' they're gonna screw-up, but 'when'.

I'm not a football fan but would cheer on Gamecocks over Clemson just because all my friends who are Clemson fans are so overboard obnoxious about it! Go *****!!

Yeah, beating Furman is really hard. Are the Gamecocks going to start playing some REAL teams soon are just a bunch of creampuffs?

Yeah, here come the hard games!

But we're #12 (AP) and have to go against #17 Auburn . . . who just creamed Clemson -- I'm sorry, what are they ranked??? Oh, that's right , Clemson's not ranked!

GO GAMECOCKS!
