I think a new job posts up at least every other week. Some are ratherr specific, but I have it set to get new postings sent to me at my company email, just to see what jobs, what requirements, and what pay and understand the organization a little better. And also to see if anything really peaks my interest.
It's not just Boeing. All companies are handling their interviewees like that now. It's sad and uncourteous, but they ALL operate like that today. It's an employer's market and they don't have to bother getting back to people with calls or emails......or anything. Sad, but true.
what a incourteous and unprofessional company, after 4 months after interview no longer under consideration, no phone call, no email.
I think its wrong they take so long to get a response. But I do not think its wrong to inform you that you are no longer under consideration.
You can always reapply. I have heard people say they just put in for every job availible, not even looking at the requirements and not realizing there is no way in Hell they qualify for it. I am sure this and the real people looking cause massive issues.
Hello everyone, I read all the 59 pages of comments and I got really good information from them. However I could not find what I look for.
I just graduated from Industrial Engineering this May. 1.5 months ago I applied for Entry Level Industrial Engineer position and I had a phone interview 3-4 weeks ago. Yesterday I got a call from the company asking for a second face-to-face interview on the factory( yes they will pay for all the traveling expenses) I accepted it and I am going to have an interview 2 weeks later.
My questions is what kind of interview will this be? 1)The HR department decided on me but they want to see me before the final decision? or 2) there are only couple of candidates left like me for the position and they are gonna compare us and see who is the best one? p.s. on the phone, they said the interview will be a kind of interview panel and factory visiting.this is all i got.thanks
I.E. major -- if it doesn't work with Boeing -- check out GE Aviation. There are quite a few plants that are providing material for Boeing. My son had a great internship at GE Aviation in Batesville and has his name on a few parts -- probably only test parts but still.........a cog in the wheel at some point.
