they are still hiring.

I was talking with a buddy of mine that had a training class and he was with some people that were only a few months in. Dreamlifters are coming in going all the time, hauling parts in and out, 1st plane is almost gone(faster then any plane ever in the 787 program) 2nd one is coming rolling out soon.

There is also talk of "extra work" coming down here soon, around Fall

Log into their site, and search. They were a few days ago. ALso, set up an account with them and have preferences set up for job posting notifications. Dont know if this link will work, but go to careers, signup etc. It also tells you whether or not you are still in consideration for the job.

I am going into my fourth week and I don't care what anyone here says, me and my classmates all feel that the work is being thrown at you rather than tought to you.

Keep that attitude up and keep posting in public, you will not be there much longer. A threat, no as I am not in a position to do anything about it. A real life reality? Sorry, but yes.

My only advice is be careful.

Are you still in school? If so you are being taught by State of SC employees. Tell your management your problems.

Trident instructors werent always a bed of roses, my advice in school is learn to navigate the tech documents.

FWIW I have been with the company less then 2 years, I recently got a promotion, learned alot, and still "under consideration" for a management job that I might be a fit for.

Guy in my drill class went from quality to QS(decent promotion)
2 other Guys are now leads
My temp lead, is now a manager
My temp manager is now a 2nd level
My temp 2nd level manager is now a 3rd level.
One of my coworkers is now a temp manager
I know one guy is now a Manager on 777 program in everett.
I know mechanics that became MEs

Alot has changed but have seen alot of people move up.

Don't know if there is going to be as much room for advancement as things settle a bit, but I ahve seen alot of advancement from hardworking people.

To accufitgolf. My attitude is probably the best that it can be. NO THREAT HERE. Just an honest evaluation from 1st hand experience and comments from the other 20 some people in the class. Nothing wrong with being honest.
