The red is a reflection of the tail-light on the car.

i think most people understood i was joking - but, it is there and adds to the fun. and i would argue that it cast a shadow. tail lights cast shadows?

This is why I have moved Charleston to the top of my list of places I want to move to. The history ,ghosts, beautiful architecture etc is everything I am looking for.

Well, since this thread continues, I'll report that we went out there again. Started with Summerville light.... got to the end of the road, immediately saw the light, but then a couple of Chow dogs showed up so we didn't get out of the car. Afraid the dogs might be accompanied by people back there, we left pretty quick. We went straight to Strawberry Chapel. It actually (IMO) wasn't very scary. Was fairly lit until you got toward the back of the cemetery. We had fun snapping pix until a couple of large trucks came racing through, the people in them screaming, and I swear they considered running us over.

Update: Came home and downloaded my pix from Strawberry Chapel. Anyone know where they could be analyzed. Again, I was a total skeptic, but... are these orbs? I took several pix and only the ones toward the cemetery have them. And... check out the one with... whatever that is! I have no idea! I didn't see it 'til I downloaded the pix!

Wow....those are some scary pictures - especially that middle one. Did you see that swirly stuff (what else to call it?) when you were taking the pictures? I don't know how you get the nerve to go out there at night!

With all the great places to haunt in Charleston, why would ghosts want to stay in a cemetery? I love the whole haunted Charleston thing. With all the history and everything I bet there are some ghosts there.

With all the Northerners coming to Charleston, I am surprised the ghosts of Confederate soldiers don't go after them. Just kidding.

Do they have any good ghost walks in Charleston? And is there an area of Charleston that has the most hauntings?
