I am a 23-year-old female from Georgia looking to relocate to the Charleston area in July. I visited Charleston for the first time about a year ago, and I absolutely fell in love with the city. I am a teacher, and I'm certified to teach grades Pre K-5. My best friend will be moving with me, and she is a nurse. We have already found an apartment, but here are some areas we need advice on:

-Good schools and hospitals to work at in the Charleston area. There aren't many job opportunities in Georgia for teachers right now...is this the same circumstance in the Charleston area, or will I have better luck finding a teaching job there?
-Is it better to work at a public school or a private school?
-My friend has heard many things about Trident Hopsital and MUSC...which is better to work at as a nurse?
-We are both single, so are there a lot of singles in the Charleston area?

Any information will be helpful! Thanks!

My wife is a teacher, most schools are not hiring unless someone retires....

Government schools pay better and have better benefits....

Trident or MUSC are good places to work

Yes lots for singles to do.
