We bought my son a puppy this week, and we are looking for a recommendation for a good vet in Mount Pleasant. He's a Great Dane puppy, so we know there could be a lot of vet visits, so I don't want to choose a vet out of the yellow pages. I really like small "down home" vet offices, but we probably want a full service vet with on site surgical/ultrasound available. Could probably use some good puppy training too, maybe something a little betterbthan what Petsmart has to offer.

Thanks!

The Pet Vet, on Coleman Blvd. just up from Red's at Shem Creek. That's where I take my kids. If they don't have the services you want, I'm sure they'll let you know who does.

We just started taking our animals to Advanced Animal Care on Morgan's Point Road, just past the 'new' Walmart on 17 North. Really like him so far, small office, like his practice philosophy.

Switched from Animal Medical Center for many reasons.

Patrick Veterinary Clinic on Meeting St., just off the Ravenel Bridge, is wonderful.

We use Park West vets. They are very down home and prices compared to petsmart.
