My 22 year old single son just moved in with us from Phoenix AZ. We live in a retirement community and, as you can imagine, he is getting extremely bored. He is looking into joining a soccer league. Any other suggestions as how he can meet other males and females near his age. Most of the people at his place of employment are older and married.

Also check out if Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission (CCPRC) www.ccprc.com . They often need volunteers and a lot are of your sons age. I have kayaked with some of them and they seem to be a friendly bunch. He will learn some new skills and it will never hurt his resume either.

Default Great Suggestions

Thank you so much. Yesterday my son signed up for kickball and dodgeball at the Sports and Social Club. Now I can tell everyone that my son lives with me in a retirement community, sells cars for a living at the Max, and plays kickball! But things could be alot worse.
