I just want to say some good words about the NICU in MUSC. My father recieved excellent care and my family was treated with great care, repect and compassion in very sad time. We are blessed to have such a wonderful facility/staff in our area.

Your father was in the NICU? Is he his own uncle as well?

My sincere condolences to you and your family. My own dad passed away suddenly in a similiar way last year so I know how you feel.

Foot meet mouth.

Sorry for the joke, and sorry for your loss.

It 'would' have been a good joke. Again, my apologies.

Anyway...

The staff at MUSC is quite good (I'm an employee, so I see it everyday). I'm glad you had a positive experience during such a difficult time, and I am sorry for your loss.
Not to threadjack, but I had surgery at Roper in West Ashley two weeks ago and I had the best nurses I could have ever asked for. We are truly blessed to have such quality medical care nearby.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I am glad that your father, you and your family recieved such good care during such a difficult time. I know from experience myself that it really does make a difference in your grieving.
