Are there any party boats in the area to go deep sea fishing? All I seem to find is charters. Thanks!

There are still a few in the Grand Strand area. They are part of the Capt. Dicks fleet. We lost our last Headboat (THUNDERSTAR) when new regulations shut down most of what they fish for. The other reg that killed them is that they are required by law to run at very low speed within 20 miles of shore, due to Right Whales calving in the area. This law applies to all boats over 60'. I would bet you any amount of money that there has not been a collision between a headboat and a whale off of SC. The real problem for the whales is the container ships running up and down the coast. Look at the stats on whale strikes....
