Hi All,

My wife and I are planning on relocating to Mt Pleasant sometime in May and was wondering about temporary housing. We would like something for around 3 months while we look to hopefully purchase a home. We have seen the corporate relocation services that offer fully furnished apartments and was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of them and the approx. costs, etc. and recommendations. Thanks everyone in advance!

I don't know about corporate housing, but I have been at Extended Stay America in Mt. Pleasant for 3 weeks and will be here for another week and a half. It's not too bad. It is like having a studio apartment. You can get good rates for staying a month or longer. It is just me here right now, so I don't know how it would be to have more than 1 person staying in the room for months. It is an option if you can't get the corporate apartment for some reason.

Check out www.locatehousing.com, ACRS's website. They provide leases as short as 30 days throughout the Charleston area, including Mt Pleasant. Their number is 843-747-2194. Hope that helps!
