A while back, probably 12 or 15 years, we visited the slave market and it had a store with all Confederate / War Between the States type stuff. Can anybody give me an update, store name, web site for this shop ? I really dont know that it still even exists, but I purchased a banner type Confederate ' Stars and Bars ' flag there, really heavy duty. And it being May, I have taken it out to display on this month of the Confederate Memorial. I think it is 10 or 12 May.

Anyway, I am needing a new one just like this one as it has been a good one and it is about to wear out. I would love to order a banner of the same quality from this shop if it still is.

For the record the Slave Market in Charleston is located at 6 Chalmers St. The market on Market street was the city market and was used mostly for food and not slaves.

Thank you for doing that. A common misnomer.

Thank you. The City Market did not function as a slave market. Apparently, this is a misconception by many.
