I currently own a 55" Sony KDL55ex720 (LED) that has minimal clouding with an overall very good picture. My primary is a 65" LG 65LW6500 (LED) which has gotten very good reviews online. The biggest downfall of this tv is the glare that occasionally occurs depending on the lighting. I usually just minimize the lighting behind me to reduce or eliminate any glare.
Burn in is a thing of the past.

Over the air HDTV is an extra $0/month, and it's an uncompressed signal. I can see the difference the most between over the air and u-verse.

True...how many channels do you get to choose from with OTA?

Plasma handles fast motion (like when watching sports) better. Burn in is unlikely with today's models, but if you play the same video game a lot the possibility that certain shapes will burn in exists. I went for an LCD LED model from Sony, because I needed a small model ... there aren't many 32" plasmas around ... I don't watch sports on TV, and I view TV in a living room that's often brightly lit. Plasmas work better in dimmer environments. Whether plasma's right for you depends on what you're watching and where you have your TV located. "Plasma's better" might be true for some people ... it isn't for me.

I've had a 42" Samsung plasma since mid 2008 and I've always played my xbox and Ps3 on it. It is now in the bedroom and I have a 50" Samsung plasma in the living room that is about a year old and no problems.

I'll fork out the extra dollar or two a month on the power bill for better picture. And it is heavy, but I don't take it camping with me lol

Including subchannels, about 20 or so. We have a computer hooked up to the tv and Hulu/Netflix have about everything we would've watched on cable. Internet comes with ESPN3, so we're good to go.
