I am trying to find info on extracurricular activities for kids who are homeschooled. Sports is no problem, but I need info on science clubs or even band activity. That sort of thing.

Anyone have any info they can share or point me in the right direction?

South Carolina Home Educators Association . org

S. C. H. E. A. . org -- Support Groups in SC

I would join a group that fits your particular style. There are yahoo groups and google groups here for every style of homeschool family from unschooling to religious co-op schooling.

Leonard School of Music in N. Charleston does a homeschool band, Creative Spark in Mt. P does homeschool art, the YMCA has homeschool fitness... There are tons of other types of lessons, groups and classes available locally.

Hope that helps!

No longer needed. This was posted over a year ago and my son is no longer home schooled.
