Default EDU jobs in SC?

I live in NY. My wife and I are both in education. I am a principal and she is an elementary school teacher.

We have been kicking around moving to nicer weather and less "rat race". Looking at both N and S Carolina.

NC forums are very negative for both admin and teaching opportunities.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Unfortanately SC outlook isn't much better, you work long hours for less money and there is not a teachers union down here.....

That being said there has been a highering (highering only on critical needs) and raise freeze for the last two years, not even steps....

Good luck......
