Sounds like I could make a decent living there. Those prices are higher than what they normally are here, which is weird because everything else in SC is so much cheaper than it is here.

I have found that it is higher here than I was paying in MA. I was paying $80 for a cut and highlight in MA. I guess the cheaper price of gas here makes up for it!

I'll take cheaper gas anyday! $80 is still cheaper than here! I think us hairdressers are getting the short end of the stick here!

I was with my hairdresser for 20 years, so he didn't raise the price too often. I really miss him. I have found a good mechanic, good tire people, and a great vet, but I just haven't found a new hairdresser I really like.

It's so hard to find someone you "click" with. Good for you that you stuck with yours for 20 years! That's great.

I went around the Mt. pleasant area looking for a hair stylist and wow-prices are definately higher than NJ. I did finally go to Sylvia's by Seaside Farms and saw Jennifer-she was great!!! Had a trim, color, and blowout, oh-and eyebrow tinting...really looks great BUT @ $150!!!!!! I have never paid over $100 before
