Get ahold of the military bases, as they have plenty of fields, and probably have a strong support for a game not normally associated with the south. They generally just need a list of names etc to be allowed on base and maybe a sponsor to bring them on .
Also, fund raisers etc can assist as some people do that to pay for fees, trips etc for sporting events.
Sooo. (just looking at Summerville as a possible relocation) is Summerville like corrupt politically? Other than the sports issues, is it a good family area? (ducking & waiting for a reply) ~ lol

No need to duck - ha - and yes, Summerville has wonderful schools and sports programs, and is a very family-oriented town. It's not the small town it was at one time, but the downtown city proper is very quaint, historic, and charming.
there's nearly 50,000 people here now... it isn't a small town anymore, the half way backs have out numbered the locals and taken it over!
it's forever changed, not that that's a bad thing but it's a different place than it was even 15 years ago... dats what they call progress, other than some of the same old buildings inbetween all the new ones the small town is gone...
that being said, Summerville is still an excellent family and sports oriented area with some of the best public schools in the state...
btw 1/2backs are the people that moved down to Florida from NY or the likes, and then moved 1/2back and landed here... lol
My perception of small is probably smaller than most people's, since I grew up in a village of 1,155 (and lived there for 24 years), which was completely surrounded by cornfields and farms for 15 miles in any direction! We had 93 in our high school graduating class.
Back then Summerville would have seemed like a major city to me. lol
I LOVED Summerville back in the early to late 80's though....still had a small-town feel and much less traffic.

Wow .. you make my little town back home sound like a metropolis ... 10,000 with a graduating class of 250.
But the view from my rural back porch went for 40 miles .. lol
