Well, at least I don't have to spit on the sidewalk to go kayaking ..... LOL ..... and today was absolutely gorgeous ............ oh hey, I have a nice pic I took of a NY kayak ..........

ROTFLMAO! Yep. The North Shore of Long Island is very rocky, glacier drop. The nice sand is on the South Shore with the ocean aka: Jones Beach.

The rocky sand on the beaches was the hardest thing to adjust to when I moved from So Cal to Washington state, not to mention the water temperature!

It is very nice to be able to walk barefoot on a beach again. Now if only I could find a wave to surf on.

There were plenty of them on Folly this week with the Tropical Storm mixing things up....

They were so many surfers on Isle of Palm last week end as well. They got to ride some decent waves -- for the east coast.

We always seem to hit Folly on an off day. This week end would have been perfect. Hoping to head out on Saturday....I don't surf but my son does. I would love to try it!
