Proud,
Troubadour's is open 7 to 7. I don't know if those hours work for you ever, but you should know they have a Peppermint Mocha that is to die for!

Also, I wonder if you could give me some shoe advice? My 15 year old just joined the Wando track team, and I need some very good shoes for him. He has a five inch screw and a bone graft in his right ankle, so he needs a shoe with the best possible shock absorbing ability.
Right now with one of the JROTC teams he runs several miles a week in combat boots, so I think his poor feet need some pampering! Thanks in advance for any suggestions you or any other running enthusiasts can offer.

OK. Is Silversides going to be back by then?

Happy Birthday to Silversides today too!

Thank you R. I'll be back for two weeks at Christmas/New Years. I've got to get something going down there, Chicago is boring now, I need to get home <sigh>

I just saw this, but I'd definitely go to TrySports Mt. Pleasant or The Foot Store. Those are the two best running shoe stores in town. Both places have staff members who will watch him run on a treadmill and find the best shoes for him .

I didn't realize Troubadour's opened at 7 AM... that actually works great for me, will check that out after my next Saturday morning long run!
