I've lived a lot of different places and traveled around all over, but until you really leave the area I can't think of a lot out of 526 aside from suburbia. A chain place here is the same as they are in Austin, Seattle, Orange County CA, ...

Have you ever been to the national Forest or up on Lake Moultrie?

Traveled the Swamp Fox Trail, or the Cherokee trail of tears?

Went to Cheries specialty meats and cafe today. Thd wife loved it she even said if we wanted to have a meet there she would definitely be there....

National forest - yes
Lake - no
Trail - yes
Cherokee trail of tears - outside the area... not exactly what I was talking about.

Actually, all four are what I consider outside the (metro) area and aren't what I was talking about.

Yay, a second opinion! I was in Tbonz on Market Street and that's another place perfect for a group meetup, although its not exactly a picnic to find parking.
