If it's the place I am thinking of, it is out of business. Was this the place near the market, on one of the side streets?

Yes, I remember it had a burgundy awning out front. We tried it last summer when we were down and they had the best coffee truffle.

I always hate to hear of a business closing.

I'm pretty sure that's the one. There are a few new things downtown. There is a Haagen Dazs, Tervis store, Barbara Jean's, peanut shop, fro yo place, a fudge shop opening next week, and a store that sells only SC products.

I love stores that sell all local goods! If you discover the name please let me know. We will be down soon and I want to stop in.

What is Tervis?

The Tervis store is all Tervis Tumbler cups.

Tervis Tumbler Official Store

The SC store is on Meeting Street. If you were standing in front of the Bank of America building, it is diagonally across the street to the right. It used to be Lucy's clothing store. I was so happy to see that they sell Slather Sauce! I could drink that stuff!

The peanut shop is great! You can sample about 20 kinds of peanuts. If you like bacon, they have bacon salt, bacon popcorn, and baconaise (bacon flavored mayo).

That Tervis, gotcha.

I know exactly where you are speaking of. We will definitely check it out.

Agreed! On the Slather Sauce. Good stuff! Did you see in FB where they asked if anyone was interested in a Slather cookbook?

DH will love, love the peanut store!

I got a box of beautiful and yummy chocolates from that place for Christmas last year. Little works of art.
