It's not like a pirate theme at least, but the requested attire for both guys and girls coming is stuff that neither of us have, and will never use again. I doubt anyone really has this stuff. It's a huge nuisance. They should be happy enough already... people are showing up, they're getting married and they're already getting wedding gifts from everyone.

Large hats and stuff like that. Apparently they decided long after invitations went out to go with a sort of old timey theme. They neglected the fact that those things are expensive, never needed, and bulky to store. Basically all three things on our "do not want!" list.

Yeaah except for the part that this comes out *after* invites / RSVPs so it's a little hard to turn around now. Still weighing our options...

I hear that! I never drink anything but red wine at dinner during the week, and last night I had two pomegranate margaritas last night. It was practically a party!
