Question apartments in Summerville?

Hi, I am looking for any information on apartment complexes in the Summerville area. Things such as safety and schools are most important. I have a daughter who will be attending high school. We are seriously considering a move to Summerville by August 1 and would like to rent for a year or so before we consider buying. Also any other info anyone would like to offer about the area would be appreciated. Thanks.

The best apartments in Summerville are actually in Berkeley County and would not go to Summerville High....

They are Vista Sands and The Traditions...

Not really depends on where you are going to be working.

Thanks OTC. I have been reading threads for days trying to get as much info as possible. We have talked with Vista Sands and they sound very friendly and all of the feedback on here is very positive, however my concern is that we would not be in the DD2 school district. Unfortunately we cant spend as much time investigating the area in person for ourselves as we'd like so any insight about Cane Bay HS or suggestions for safe apts in the DD2 school district? Thanks!

Cane bay is nice, it is only three or four years old so it doesn't have the long standing rep that Summerville High has, but it is ok for a government school....

Anybody have any experience with Farmington Village or Martin's Creek...we really want to stay in Summerville. Our first choice of Vista Sands has little to no availability for what we need.
