Where do you guys take your oil to have it recycled etc, in Goose Creek area is possible? I do my own oil changes, and want to ensure I am doing the right thing..

Any auto parts store will have a recycling drum in the back, just carry it in and they will point you in the right direction...

Where I live no they have little boxes with shredded paper. Throw it in the dumpster, as this state uses it for power.
Thanks though, makes it easy going to checkers or autozone etc.

You can take it to most "quick" oil changes places, also. they actualy get paid'ed by the recycler last I heard was ~10 cents a gallon.

Just make sure it 'clean' oil, They don't want/take oil that has thing like leaves, grass clipping etc in it. It clogs the hose they use to pump out the used tank.

Understand. I wsh I had the machine to filter it back to being clean. the I can use it in lawnmowers and other things. Regardless, off to the recycling centers it will go.
