I've been visiting the area for a white and notice that The Kickin Chicken always has a crowded parking lot. How is the food there? Does it have other options on the menu besides chicken dishes?

Here is a link to the menu:

The Kickin' Chicken • Menu

They also have burgers and wraps. The chicken sandwiches and wings are really good.

I usually get the chicken strips, they are huge, and they deliver now....

It's unbelievably great. One of my favorite places to eat. The fried pickles are to die for.

Does it depend which place? I went to one and didn't care for it at all. We took the kids and none of us were impressed. Maybe our experience isn't the norm or the place was having an off day????

I have been their twice. I have always viewed the place as a younger crowd, sports bar. An OK place, but not my particular tastes.

The one thing I dislike more then one chicken wing, is two chicken wings......LOL

I have only been to the one on James Island near Gold's Gym on Folly. And I have always just gotten it to go, I have actually never sat in there and eaten. But the food has been great every time. Maybe they were having an off day!

When we were in Summerville, and it was in the middle of the week, Kickin Chicken was too packed to get in the door. It was my one regret as we drove out of Summerville that we didn't get a chance to try it. I figure if that many people like the place, there's gotta be something good there!
