My sister lived in Galway for 2 years... she loved it. I really wish I'd been able to visit her but I never got the chance!

We just moved here last month and love it so far. Good luck!

We haven't tried the Dog and Duck - I didn't realise they did fish & chips.

We have been to Madra Rua in Summerville. The fish was so so and the chips had skins on them... which is a no.. just NO. I detest this tendency to leave the skins on chips - it's a cheap-a** cost cutting measure that ruins the flavour, and belongs nowhere near proper fish & chips!! (*cough* sorry about the mini-rant!)

I have not tried either places fish and chips so I couldn't tell you, but I do know they are on the menu...
