Hi folks... we're going to be locating in a few months. House back here is in contract and the final step for the appraisal is being done. We'll be locating probably to the Summerville area.

Those of you who have cable/internet in the area... who do you prefer and use?

I've tried looking for info and it looks like TWC and Comcast are providers. We have TWC at our bungalow at Myrtle Beach and no problems.

How is the cable service in Summerville?

Thanks in advance!

~~ Barb

Agreed ... although they just informed us they are going to start charging $3.95 'leasing fee' for their cable modem with the option to PURCHASE one off a list of approved modems.

But all-in-all my family and I have had no issues with Time Warner.

Where I live in Summerville Time Warner Cable is the only cable company servicing my subdivision. I've never had issues with them.

Yes, 1lisat brought up a good point. You many not be able to choose your cable provider; quite a few neighborhoods in Summerville are only serviced by one provider. My neighborhood, like 1lisat's, is only serviced by Time Warner.
