Was in Charleston 3 years ago. Ate a Thai restaurant downtown called Aroma's! It was fantastic! Hope it's still there. We also ate at Hank's during our last visit and liked it as well. Where else can any locals suggest we try for breakfast, lunch, dinner??

My wife likes Hominy Grill downtown for breakfast....

Me I used to love going to the bakery on East Bay, forgot the name, but haven't been back in a while since I really can't enjoy the food there anymore....

Charleston's Cafe in Mount Pleasant for breakfast. Saffron, King Street Grill, Jestine's, Barbara Jeans, Sticky Fingers, Noisy Oyster, Blind Tiger, and Toast are all places I have eaten at for lunch.

I really like Poogan's Porch... and even though it's not downtown, Tattooed Moose is one of my favorites
